Chasing Ella

This was my second visit with Ella Grace but this time she brought her older brother and sister. We had great fun trying to slow Ella down. And from looking at the photos we were successful! The older Owens are used to me taking their picture at the school they attend. Kendra (adding the feminine side to West Vita Photography) put together a beautiful Christmas card from the shoot.

Stokes

This is the second time I've had the wonderful opportunity to shoot these two little ladies. The Stokes girls are not only beautiful but they are super fun to shoot. I love how Georgia calls me by my full name - "hello West Vita". And Ellie is so nice when I accidently call here Georgia:) Their mom used these photos for there Christmas Card and summed up their year with a great line of "Glory in the Highest!"

Blackburn's

I got a chance to hang out with these kids over the Christmas break. Their mom told us to go out and have a good time. What a cool mom! So we cruised B-Town and got these happy sibling shots. Also, I couldn't help getting some solo photos of this good-looking group.

Hacienda

This is the band that makes the amazing music you can hear on my site. They've got an awesome sound going down! I was a fan of Hacienda before I had the good fortune of shooting them (which made this extra cool for me). These brothers and a cousin put on a live show that will make you dance... if you can. I was glad to hear they got a new CD out in April titled-Big Red and Barbacoa.

Shelley and Ryan {San Antonio Wedding}

I had a great time shooting this jazzy couple. This wedding was full of friends family and swing dancing.

Fredericksburg Texas Wedding

Lindsey and Steve were such a joy to shoot. Their love for each other and kindness to everyone made the day an absolute pleasure. Here are a few of my favorites, I'll have the whole wedding up for you guys soon.

Family Portraits Fair Oaks Ranch Texas

This Mom is a friend of another client of mine. Her husband is headed out to serve our country pretty soon and she wanted to capture a family photo before he goes. I had a great time with these guys.

I hung out with this little man and his parents at Cibolo. He was a busy guy, he gave me some great smiles. But, I also like this more serious shot of him.

Miss C is a senior at TMI. She loves horses and photography. Miss C wanted to keep things really simple, but when we started shooting - she turned into a super-fashion model. Thanks for making it easy on me.

Boerne Texas Wedding Photographer

Matt and Alex are some sweet peeps. I had a blast shooting their engagement session in downtown SA. Their wedding was at the beautiful Ye Kendall Inn in Boerne. It's actually the same place that I got married at ten years ago. So, it was especially cool to be there last weekend. The wedding was beautiful. It included a dog with a tie, a pyramid, a lotta college hand signs and songs... just to name a few.

Family Portraits: Boerne Texas

This family was great to work with. The kids were soooo patient and quick to pose just right. I loved working with them. Amy, I'm sorry it's taking so long to get these to you! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

High School Senior {Boerne Texas Photographer}

This Senior and I had a good time out in B-town. It's always fun to shoot a fellow photographer. I was glad his mom came along, they seem to be pretty good pals. She even played the role of reflector lady for a few shots. Yay, Moms! After sweatin' it out outdoors, we cooled it off in the studio for some sweet, strobe-lit shots.

The Stahl Family Boerne Texas Family Photographer

Dr. Stahl is opening the doors of his family practice this fall, and he asked me to take some family pics to adorn the walls of his new place. I was glad to oblige. This family has got great style. These two lovely young ladies were home together for a short time before heading back to college. And their mother, who is a friend of mine, had me capture a fun sister session of them. We roamed around downtown SA together. Here is one of my faves from their session. Gotta love those shoes.

Meet Jessica, my first Senior of the season. She's a senior at Keystone School. She's a pretty diverse music fan. She plays violin for YOSA, and enjoys listening to alternative rock like Beck. When she told me that, I knew we'd work well together. I loved her unique look and clothing choices, they made for a great session.

It was so much fun to shoot this big, Boerne wedding at St. Peter's. That sanctuary is beautiful. Afterwards, we headed across the street to the Boerne Vistro for the reception. I love a good, small town wedding.
